Wedding Day//Amanda+Marc
Today, without a hitch, Amanda and Marc got hitched! With constant smiles on their faces it truly couldn't have been a more at ease day. Arriving at the newly (or at lease since I was there four years ago...) renovated Olympic Hills Gold Club in Eden Prairie, Amanda and her ladies were zipping up those final details. Amanda was a knockout in her lace gown from Mestads! Lots of nervous giggles and cheek pinching smiles as she awaited for the time to see her groom. Dapper in a gray suit from Savvi Formalwear, Marc was prepped to his bride.
While some watched the radar closely, I just knew that this beautiful outdoor ceremony was meant to happen without a problem. Although there were tiny sprinkles here and there during groups shots just to keep us all on our toes, weather held out for the entire evening. Eager to have fun with their guests, Marc and Amanda said a quick I-do in the gorgeous ceremony space right near the club's pond and lively landscaping. Sealed with a kiss and their signature high-five, they were husband and wife!
Walking into the reception space was just a dream! Flowers everywhere! Purple everywhere! Candles everywhere! It was classic and smelled divine. Linen Effects provided perfectly matched napkins and runners to the wedding's decor. Wedding Collective provided vendors both for the amazing florist and the fantastic DJ! Jenn Carlson, "extrovert for hire," was perfect as emcee keeping the evening moving and guests informed and still having a ton of fun! A three tiered cake from Buttercream stood high just waiting to be devoured.
After Marc and Amanda twirled sweetly together for their first dance; and Amanda and her father swayed for their dance; and Marc and his mother spun together for their dance; it was time for the very sweet tribute to both Marc and Amanda's parents. Both being married just around the thirty year mark, give or take, they got to relive their own first dances for a bit.
You know how I said I knew weather would be alright? Well, it was earlier in the day and just like I predicted, the clouds broke up just before sunset and the brightest, most golden light was peering through JUST in time to take the happy couple out for more portraits. (I think I missed my calling as mother nature's front person.) Seriously, we walked outside and my heart started racing because I was so excited for these perfect minutes! Timing couldn't have been better.
After romancing it up in the sunlight, it was time to let loose and dance the night away. Guests enjoyed the amazing patio overlooking the course, and the sunset, as well as a perfect fire pit to cozy around as the sun went down. Just as Marc and Amanda wished, their guests had a ton of fun as they all celebrated this wonderful couple.
Marc and Amanda, enjoy this perfect recap, from your perfect day!
