Wedding Day//Tiiu+Rob

Today's love story actually began around thirty years ago with a pair of teenagers who fell in love. As most teenage love stories though, it was short. Tiiu and Rob went on with their lives and remained in contact over the years. Rob would call or write Tiiu about once a year just to check in and see how she was doing. Every. Year. And Tiiu kept those letters after all this time. So, when Rob connected with Tiiu via Facebook and found that both of them were in a place in their lives where rekindling their teenage love might just be possible, it seemed like fate. Like it was finally their time.

Tiiu was perfect in her tea length gown from Luxe Bridal. Elegantly coifed and primped thanks to Spa Beauty makeup and hair services. She wore the role of bride very well. Rob was dapper in a gray suit touched with a single white rose boutonniere.

The pair wanted a no fuss day, or at least as little fuss as possible. They stood together sans wedding party during their intimate ceremony held at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Lakeville. Elegant and simplistic bouquets by Design n Bloom touched the aisle seats of each row. And a wonderful backdrop from Illuminations by Lori Cole framed the happy couple perfectly as they stood in front of their friends and family.

Tiiu fought back tears as they read their vows to each other. Heart hugging declarations of love from both of them had quite a few people, myself included, welling up a bit. Rob stated at one point that he had loved Tiiu since the first time he saw her and has loved her ever since. Seeing as that was thirty years ago, it has been a long time coming for these two beautiful people. Tiiu's daughter, Abbey, sang during the unity ceremony and she nailed it! It was the perfect addition to this sweet ceremony.

The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed their dinner from Rudy's Red Eye Grill. Classic song choices filled the reception space from Midwest Entertainment. Just as we headed out for the evening VIP Photobooth laid out their fun props and were ready to help get this party hoppin'!
